Deleting your account

1. Delete it yourself in the app or on the web

• Step 1: Open the MY tab at the bottom of the app or mediscent.kr.
• Step 2: While signed in, tap 'Delete account' at the bottom of the list.
• Step 3: Enter your password if you signed up with email, or the confirmation word shown on screen if you signed up with Google.
• Step 4: Tap 'Delete account permanently'. The account is deleted at once and you are signed out.

2. Delete some of your data but keep the account

• Trip plans: In the planner, open a trip and tap 'Delete trip' to remove the whole trip, or 'Remove' on a place to remove just that place. Both are removed from your account at once.
• Saved places: Tap 'Saved' on a place's detail to unsave it; it is removed from your account at once.
• Visit cards: Delete a card under MY → Offline visit cards. Visit cards are stored only on this device.
• Price reports, verification record and other data: Email kindsr82@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject 'Data deletion request' and what you want removed. We will verify the request, delete the data within 10 days and reply to confirm.

3. If you cannot sign in

Email kindsr82@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject 'Account deletion request'. Once we confirm the request came from that address, we delete the account within 10 days and reply to confirm. Do not send your password or any other details.

4. What is deleted

Your account details (email, password, sign-up method, nationality and language), verification record, trip plans and places saved to your account are destroyed as soon as the account is deleted.

5. What remains, and for how long

• Shared price reports: The link to you and your memo are removed; only the facility, specialty, price range and month of visit stay in anonymous totals that cannot identify you.
• Moderation records: Records of restrictions or report handling keep only the member number and the reason, for one year after deletion in case of a dispute, and are then destroyed.
• Data never linked to an account: Sentences translated in the conversation screen, facility error reports and anonymous usage statistics were never tied to your account and remain as they are.

6. Data on your device

Visit cards, places saved without signing in and language settings exist only on your device, so we cannot delete them. On the web, clear the site data for mediscent.kr in your browser settings; for the Android app, go to Chrome settings → Site settings → All sites → mediscent.kr → Delete.
